The global adventure competition

The Land Rover G4 CHALLENGE was a global adventure competition that was held in 2003 and 2006. It was a successor to the Camel Trophy, a similar competition that was held from 1981 to 1997.

 

The G4 CHALLENGE was designed to test the off-road driving skills and teamwork of teams of two people from around the world.

The G4 CHALLENGE was held in a different location each year. The 2003 challenge was held in the United States, South Africa, and Australia. The 2006 challenge was held in Mexico, Chile, and Argentina.

 

The challenges included off-road driving, orienteering, kayaking, and mountain biking.
